The Specter Issue: Why The Switch?
Is the GOP (Grand Old Party) imploding. Or is America evolving? The political system as we know it in the USofA is changing. Veteran-Politicians like Reagan ex-democrat, Liberman ex-democrat, and now Specter ex-republican. Is it timing? Is it simply politicking? What do the republicans seem to stand for? Obama's political entrance on the theme of CHANGE may really be more of a threat than earlier perceived. The GOP may really be metamorphosizing right in front of our eyes. The Specter switch is a BIG deal. I mean really BIG deal. Does Obama push for more liberal policies? Or should he now make a move to the center-left? Is this the moment for a super-majority?
